The Final Assessment Criteria

posted Sep 30, 2017, 12:27 AM by Yonggeun Kim

Dear all,

Please read the assessment criteria carefully to complete your project.

If you are still in trouble to fix either the way how Arduino works or its number of functions it is time to fix it. My suggestion is simple. Make it simple and easy not to yourself but for the users. Make your decision by yourself and be ready to explain why it is supposed to be in that way in the viewpoint of your user.

Secondly, you are required to fill up the final submission form.  In doing so please review your hackster.io projet page carefully. It must be a good tutorial for the other people who will try the same thing with you. So it must be precise and detailed with the step-by-step procedure. While you are writing up this tutorial you will learn again what you've done this semester.
If your tutorial on hackster.io is not compliance with this instruction it will deduct your marks.

Hope your very good luck and thanks for reading.

Preparation for week 6

posted Aug 3, 2017, 7:14 PM by Yonggeun Kim   [ updated Aug 3, 2017, 7:21 PM ]

Dear all,

Thanks for everyone who visited for the discussion and got a little taught during the discussions this week.  As I told you your marks will be adjusted in a very positive direction. It is too early to despair. Start again.

For the preparation of next week,
  1. I asked some of you to remake your slide. Please complete and upload to the Google drive folder (00.passed folder) by the end of 9th of Aug, Wednesday. I will check at 9am on Thursday.
  2. If you couldn’t have discussion with me during this week, let’s schedule again after the end of Monday class.
  3. Please visit tinkercad.com site and complete the 2 Arduino Step-by-step Lessons. Follow the guideline from the slide no. 56 from week 4.
  4. Start your plan to buy hardwares. For the local stores research the electrical shop in Jalan Pasar. If you cannot convince yourself what to buy, print out your instruction and bring it there to get some help. They are experts. If you are considering Aliexpress or taobao the delivery will take over 2 weeks, even maximum 6 weeks. Move now.
  5. Ask me what you don't understand right away in the classroom. Since it will be hands-on class from now on you cannot skip what you don't understand.
Thanks again and see you next week.

Regards,
Yonggeun Kim
